WAAD is delighted to announce the upcoming 2011 National Week of Deaf People - "From Little Things Big Things Grow"

This year celebrations are focused on the reconciling of all Deaf organisations and individuals to celebrate a shared aspect which is the beauty of sign language -  Auslan and Deaf culture.

Please do encourage others to come to the week long celebratory events and celebrate Auslan (Australian Sign Language).

Celebrations commence on Saturday 15th October and run through until Friday 21st October.

There are activities for everyone, all ages and all kinds!

We are fortunate to acquire funding from Lotterywest to enable us to provide interpreters for all events. Thank you!
